Recalculate Excel

Recalculate Excel - How to force excel to recalculate circular dependencies after fixing an error? I have a workbook that has all sorts going on. On my macbook pro i cannot use the f# keys in excel. I'm using excel 365 and i have calculation options set to manual. Is it possible in excel to calculate only a certain range of cells, even if it is just the range selected for example. You can also go to the formulas tab in the ribbon, click on calculation options and select manual to stop excel from automatically calculating formulas. As far as i know the ctrl+shift+alt+f9 shortcut is supposed to recalculate all cells in the entire workbook, even. Normally calculating manually with f9 or switching calculation to automatic works as expected, but sometimes i have to use ctrl + shift + alt + f9 to recalculate certain cells. But they do not recalculate automatically when i change input. I have just transferred from microsoft to mac.
